Supporting the global Bible translation community
The Bible for everyone
We are a global, interconfessional network working to bring the Bible to everyone in the language and medium of their choice. By working with and through local churches and bringing together translation practitioners, scholars, and other partners, we aim to make the Bible available and accessible to all.
Our Bible Translation Approach
The global Fellowship of Bible Societies is involved in hundreds of translation projects at any one time.
United Bible Societies meet the need for professional translation services through a team of international, interconfessional specialists.
In doing so, we help to ensure that published translations communicate the meaning of source texts faithfully, clearly, and naturally, and that the publications of biblical text materials preserve the integrity of the source text message.
